Crispy Flatbread with Blue Cheese, Cranberries & Toasted Walnuts with a Hot Honey Drizzle

Ingredients:
For the Flatbread:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup warm water
2 tbsp olive oil

Toppings:
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Create a well in the center and slowly add warm water and olive oil.
  2. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F. Divide dough into 4 equal portions and roll out into thin, rustic oval shapes.
  4. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet. Lightly brush with olive oil.
  5. Sprinkle blue cheese, cranberries, and walnuts evenly across flatbreads.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Mix honey with red pepper flakes. Drizzle hot honey over baked flatbreads.
  8. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves before serving.
