Grilled Garlic Butter Steak Breakfast Plate

Grilled Garlic Butter Steak Breakfast Plate

Yields: 1 serving
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10–15 minutes

WHAT YOU NEED

1 sirloin steak (4–6 oz, or preferred tender cut)

1 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

1 egg (cooked to your liking)

1/2 cup roasted or steamed vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, or similar)

1 slice whole-wheat toast

HOW TO MAKE IT

Prepare the Steak

Pat steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper.

Grill with Garlic Butter

Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.

Melt butter in the pan, then add garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Place steak in the garlic butter and grill 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for doneness). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy. Rest briefly before serving.

Cook the Egg

While steak grills, cook egg to your preference (sunny-side up, over-easy, or scrambled).

Assemble the Plate

Place steak on the plate, sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Add vegetables, egg, and toast on the side. Serve immediately.

Notes & Variations

Swap parsley for chives or green onions.

Add hash browns or roasted potatoes for a heartier breakfast.

Use filet mignon or ribeye for a richer cut.
