Ingredients
1 package puff pastry (thawed)
400β500 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1β2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
2β3 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley
1 tsp paprika
Β½ tsp black pepper
Β½ tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tbsp oil
1 egg (for egg wash)
π₯ Instructions
Cook the filling
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic and ground beef, cook until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare the pastry
Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).
Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
Fill & roll
Place a spoonful of beef mixture on each piece.
Sprinkle cheese and green onions on top.
Roll or fold into neat parcels and seal edges.
Egg wash
Place on a lined baking tray.
Brush tops with beaten egg for that golden finish.
Bake
Bake for 20β25 minutes, or until puffed and deep golden brown.
