🧅 Layered Onion Steak Bake (Just 3 Ingredients!)
Ingredients
1½–2 lbs cube steak (or round steak, tenderized)
2 large onions, thinly sliced
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
(Salt & pepper optional — not counted 😉)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish.
Layer sliced onions across the bottom.
Place the cube steak over the onions. Season lightly if desired.
Spread cream of mushroom soup evenly over the top.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake 1½–2 hours, until the steak is fork-tender and onions are caramel-soft.
Let rest 5 minutes, then serve.

Over mashed potatoes
With rice or egg noodles
Add green beans or carrots on the side

Swap cream of mushroom for cream of chicken
