Cheesy Beef Puff Pastry Pockets
Serves: 6–8 pockets

Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (or crescent roll dough / spring roll wrappers)
250–300 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1–2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, extra creamy)
2 tbsp chopped green onions
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp chili flakes or black pepper (optional)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Oil for cooking
Instructions
Cook the filling
Heat a pan with a little oil. Sauté onion until soft.
Add garlic and ground beef. Cook until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili flakes.
Turn off heat and stir in cream cheese (if using), shredded cheese, and green onions. Let cool slightly.
Prepare pastry
Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangles or squares.
Fill & seal
Spoon filling into the center of each piece.
Fold over to form pockets. Press edges with a fork to seal.
Egg wash
Brush tops with beaten egg for that golden finish.
Bake
Bake at 200°C / 400°F for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
(Air fryer: 180°C / 360°F for ~10–12 minutes.)
