🧀 Slow Cooker Crack Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz (225 g) uncooked pasta (penne or rigatoni work great)
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar (or cheddar-jack)
½ cup cooked bacon bits
1 cup chicken broth (or water)
Black pepper (to taste)
Optional: green onions for topping
How to Make It
Add to slow cooker:
Place chicken breasts in the bottom. Sprinkle ranch seasoning and pepper over them. Pour in chicken broth.
Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW 4–5 hours or HIGH 2–3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and easy to shred.
Shred chicken:
Take the chicken out, shred it with two forks, then put it back in.
Make it creamy:
Stir in cream cheese, shredded cheese, and bacon. Let it melt for about 10 minutes.
Add pasta:
Cook pasta separately according to the package. Drain and stir it into the slow cooker.
Finish & serve:
Taste and adjust seasoning. Top with green onions if you want that fresh crunch.
Quick Tips
Want it spicy? Add a little hot sauce or chili flakes. 🌶️
No slow cooker? You can do this on the stove: simmer chicken in broth, shred, then stir everything together in a pot.
Extra creamy? Add a splash of milk at the end.
