🥔🧅 Crispy Onion–Potato Skillet (15–20 min)
You’ll need (2 servings):
2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced (or diced for faster cooking)
1 onion, sliced
1–2 tbsp oil or butter
Salt + black pepper
Optional flavor boosts: garlic powder, paprika, chili flakes, dried herbs
How to make it:
Heat the pan on medium with oil/butter.
Add potatoes first. Spread them out (don’t crowd). Cook 6–8 min, flip once they start browning.
Add onions + seasoning. Stir and cook 5–7 min until onions are soft and potatoes are golden.
Taste & tweak. More salt/pepper if needed. Done!
Optional upgrades (pick 1–2):
🧄 Toss in minced garlic for the last 30 seconds
🧀 Sprinkle cheese at the end and cover 1 min to melt
🍳 Top with a fried egg
🌿 Finish with a squeeze of lemon or chopped herbs
