Saucy Baked Chicken 🍗
Here’s an easy, no-fuss way to pour that one sauce over chicken and make it 🔥
Ingredients
4 chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts)
1 cup of your sauce (BBQ, teriyaki, honey garlic, buffalo, etc.)
1 tbsp oil (optional, for juicier chicken)
Salt & pepper (optional)
Steps
Heat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
Prep chicken: Pat dry. Lightly season with salt & pepper if your sauce isn’t super salty.
Arrange chicken in a baking dish (single layer).
Pour sauce evenly over the chicken. Turn pieces to coat.
Bake uncovered for 30–40 minutes (thighs/drumsticks) or 20–25 minutes (breasts).
Glaze it up: Halfway through, spoon the sauce from the pan back over the chicken.
Finish: If you want extra sticky edges, broil/grill for 2–3 minutes at the end (keep an eye on it).
Quick Tips
No oven? Pan-cook: sear chicken 4–5 min/side, pour sauce, cover, simmer till cooked.
Juicy upgrade: Marinate in the sauce for 20–60 minutes if you’ve got time.
Add veg: Toss in potatoes, carrots, or broccoli around the chicken—coat them in the sauce too.
