🧀 Cheesy Mashed Potato Puffs
🛒 Ingredients
2 cups mashed potatoes (cold works best)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
2 large eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup sour cream (optional, extra fluffy vibes)
½ cup breadcrumbs or panko
2 tbsp melted butter or oil
1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional add-ins: chopped chives, green onions, bacon bits
👩🍳 Instructions (Oven Method)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin (or regular muffin tin for bigger puffs).
In a big bowl, mix mashed potatoes, cheese, eggs, milk, sour cream, breadcrumbs, butter/oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Fold in any extras (chives, bacon, etc.).
Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups (fill about ¾ full).
Bake 20–25 minutes (mini) or 25–30 minutes (regular) until golden and crispy on top.
Let them cool for 5 minutes, then gently pop them out.
🔥 Extra Crispy Hack
After baking, broil for 1–2 minutes to get those golden tops chef’s kiss 👌
(Watch closely so they don’t burn.)
🍳 Air Fryer Option
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
Scoop mixture into silicone cups or lightly greased foil cups
Air fry 10–12 minutes, flip once if possible
