Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar (optional, you can reduce for kids)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp melted butter or oil
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
How to Make
Mix dry stuff: Flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
Mix wet stuff: Milk, egg, butter/oil, vanilla.
Combine: Gently mix wet into dry. Don’t overmix—small lumps are okay!
Cook: Heat a pan on medium, lightly oil it. Pour small circles of batter.
Flip: When bubbles appear, flip and cook the other side till golden.
