🛒 Ingredients (For the Fish)
2 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, dory, basa – any white fish works)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil (or regular cooking oil)
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
Juice of ½ lemon
Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Fresh parsley or coriander (optional)
👩‍🍳 How to Make It
1️⃣ Season the Fish
Pat the fish dry.
Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides.
2️⃣ Pan-Fry the Fish
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
Place fish in the pan and cook:
3–4 minutes per side
Until golden and cooked through
Remove fish and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Lemon Butter Sauce
In the same pan:
Add butter
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (don’t burn it!)
Add lemon juice
Stir well.
4️⃣ Combine
Put the fish back in the pan.
Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fish.
Cook for 30 seconds more.
