🧈 Foil-Wrapped Garlic Butter Pork Chops
Ingredients (serves 4)
4 boneless pork chops (1–1½ inches thick)
Salt & black pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
Optional add-ins: rosemary or thyme, sliced onions
Method (Slow Cooker – like in the photo)
Season the pork
Pat chops dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Quick sear (optional but worth it)
Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high.
Sear each chop 1–2 minutes per side until lightly browned.
Make foil packets
Place each pork chop on a piece of foil.
Top each with:
1 tbsp butter
A bit of minced garlic
Optional herbs/onions
Wrap foil tightly into packets.
Cook
Place packets in slow cooker.
Cook:
Low: 4–5 hours
High: 2–3 hours
Serve
Open foil carefully (hot juices!).
Spoon the garlicky butter sauce over the chops 😮💨
Oven Method (if you don’t have a slow cooker)
Bake foil packets on a tray at 190°C / 375°F for 25–30 minutes
Optional: open foil and broil 2–3 minutes for extra browning
Pro Tips
Thicker pork chops = juicier results
Add a splash of chicken broth or lemon juice inside each foil pack for extra moisture
Great sides: mashed potatoes, rice, green beans, or roasted veggies
