🥖 Garbage Bread (Stuffed Savory Bread Roll)
✅ What You’ll Need
Base
1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Fillings (aka the “garbage” – use what you like!)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
½ cup cooked ground beef or sausage
½ cup pepperoni or ham (chopped)
¼ cup onion, finely diced
¼ cup bell pepper
¼ cup olives or mushrooms
2–3 tbsp marinara or pizza sauce
Topping
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
👩🍳 How To Make It
Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Layer the chaos: Spread sauce lightly (don’t overdo it), then add meat, veggies, and cheese.
Roll it up tightly like a Swiss roll. Pinch the seam and ends closed.
Brush & season: Place seam-side down. Brush with olive oil or butter. Sprinkle garlic powder + Italian seasoning.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve. 🔥
