Creamy One-Pot Ground Beef & Pasta Bake
Ingredients
500 g (1 lb) ground beef
2 cups uncooked pasta (penne, rotini, or macaroni)
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream (the creamy liquid)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Optional: ½ cup mozzarella cheese for topping
Instructions
Brown the beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until the beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
Prepare the creamy mixture
In a bowl, mix together:
beef broth
heavy cream
tomato sauce
Italian seasoning
salt and pepper
Assemble
In a baking dish, add:
browned ground beef mixture
uncooked pasta
Pour the creamy liquid mixture over everything and stir gently.
Add cheese
Sprinkle cheddar (and mozzarella if using) over the top.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
Finish
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until pasta is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Tips
Add mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for extra flavor.
If you like it spicier, add ½ tsp chili flakes.
Let it rest 5 minutes before serving so the sauce thickens.
✅ Result: creamy, cheesy, comforting pasta with juicy ground beef — all cooked in one dish.
