🧾 Ingredients
1 cup (240 g) plain yogurt
3 large eggs (separated)
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Powdered sugar (for topping)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a small cake pan with parchment paper.
Mix yolk batter
In a bowl, whisk together:
egg yolks
yogurt
vanilla
flour
cornstarch
baking powder
Mix until smooth.
Beat egg whites
In another bowl, beat egg whites with salt until foamy.
Gradually add sugar and continue beating until soft peaks form.
Fold gently
Add the egg white mixture to the yogurt batter in 3 parts, folding gently so the batter stays airy.
Bake
Pour batter into the pan.
Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is lightly golden and the cake is set.
Cool
Let it cool slightly, then remove from pan.
Serve
Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy the soft, fluffy texture!
