Classic Potato Salad
Ingredients
1 kg potatoes (about 6 medium), peeled and cubed
3 large eggs
¾ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
½ cup celery, finely chopped
¼ cup onion, finely chopped
¼ cup pickles or relish, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
Cook the potatoes
Place cubed potatoes in a pot, cover with salted water.
Boil for about 10–12 minutes until fork-tender.
Drain and let cool.
Boil the eggs
Cook eggs in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Cool, peel, and chop.
Make the dressing
In a large bowl mix mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Combine everything
Add cooled potatoes, chopped eggs, celery, onion, and pickles.
Gently mix until coated.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour so flavors blend.
Serve
Sprinkle paprika on top before serving.
