Creamy Chicken & Rice Bake
🥘 Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
1 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of chicken soup
½ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a medium baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the uncooked rice and chicken.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake another 10–15 minutes until melted and bubbly.
🍽️ Tips
Add peas, carrots, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
Rotisserie chicken works great and saves time.
Serve with a simple salad or steamed vegetables.
