Crispy Baked Potato Wedges (Better Than Fries!)
These crispy baked potato wedges are crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and super easy to make. Many people say they’re even better than fast-food fries!
🥔 Ingredients
3 large potatoes (russet or any starchy potato)
2–3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp onion powder (optional)
2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional but very tasty)
👨🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Wash and cut potatoes into wedges (like thick fries). Leave the skin on.
Soak the wedges in cold water for 10–15 minutes (this helps them get crispier).
Drain and dry well with a towel.
Put wedges in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and onion powder, then mix well.
Spread them on a baking tray in one layer (don’t overcrowd).
Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Sprinkle parmesan on top right after baking if using.
🍽️ Optional Dipping Sauce
Mix:
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
½ tsp garlic powder
