🥞 Easy Homemade Crepes
đź§ľ Ingredients
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1½ cups (360 ml) milk
1 tbsp sugar (optional for sweet crepes)
1 tbsp melted butter or oil
1 pinch salt
Butter or oil for the pan
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Make the batter
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, melted butter, and salt until smooth.
Rest the batter (optional but better)
Let the batter sit for 10–15 minutes so the crepes become softer.
Heat the pan
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
Cook the crepe
Pour about ÂĽ cup of batter into the pan and swirl the pan so it spreads thin.
Flip
Cook for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden, then flip and cook the other side for 30–60 seconds.
Serve
Fold the crepe and drizzle with honey, maple syrup, chocolate, jam, or fruit.
