Ingredients
3 medium apples
2 eggs
100 g sugar (½ cup)
100 ml milk (about ⅓–½ cup)
200 g all-purpose flour (about 1½ cups)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
30 g melted butter (2 tbsp)
Pinch of salt
Optional: cinnamon or powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a small baking pan.
Prepare the apples:
Peel the apples, remove the cores, and slice them thinly.
Mix the batter:
In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light. Add milk, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
Add dry ingredients:
Stir in flour and baking powder until smooth.
Add apples:
Fold the apple slices into the batter so they are well coated.
Bake:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set.
Serve:
Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon if you like.
