🍖 Sweet & Sticky Glazed Roast Beef
Ingredients
1–1.5 kg beef roast (brisket or chuck works well)
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking tray with foil and lightly coat with olive oil.
In a bowl mix:
barbecue sauce
brown sugar
soy sauce
garlic
black pepper
apple cider vinegar
Place the beef on the tray and coat it well with the sauce mixture.
Cover loosely with foil and roast for about 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
Remove foil for the last 20–30 minutes so the glaze becomes dark, sticky, and caramelized.
Let the meat rest 10 minutes, then slice or shred and spoon the sauce from the tray over the top.
🔥 Tip
For extra tenderness, cook the beef low and slow (160°C / 320°F for about 3 hours). It will become very soft and easy to pull apart.
