Ingredients:
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter (plus extra for cooking)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine
Pour wet into dry ingredients and gently mix.
👉 Don’t overmix—small lumps are fine!
Heat pan
Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat and lightly butter it.
Cook pancakes
Pour about ¼ cup batter per pancake
Cook until bubbles form (about 2–3 minutes)
Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden
Serve hot
Stack them up, add butter, and pour syrup generously 🤤
