📝 Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (not hot, about 40–45°C)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or olive oil)
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
Make the dough
Add oil and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead
Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
First rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Shape
Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf or rolls, and place in a greased baking pan.
Second rise
Cover and let it rise again for 30–40 minutes.
Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
