🥔 Hearty 4-Ingredient Cabbage & Sausage Dinner
🧾 Ingredients:
1 small head of cabbage (chopped)
3–4 potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 smoked sausage (or any cheap sausage), sliced
1 onion (chopped)
(Optional: salt, pepper, or a little oil/butter if you have it)
🍳 Instructions:
Cook the sausage
In a large pot or pan, cook the sliced sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the onion
In the same pot, cook the chopped onion until soft and slightly golden.
Add potatoes
Toss in the diced potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add cabbage
Add the chopped cabbage on top. Stir everything together.
Simmer
Add about ½ cup of water, cover, and let it cook on low heat for 20–25 minutes, until the potatoes and cabbage are tender.
Combine
Return the sausage to the pot, stir, and cook another 5 minutes.
