🥦 Crispy BBQ Cauliflower Bites
🧾 Ingredients
1 medium cauliflower (cut into florets)
1 cup flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
1 cup water (or milk for richer taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1–1½ cups BBQ sauce
1–2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Lemon wedges (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
- Preheat
Oven to 220°C (425°F)
Line a baking tray with parchment paper - Make the batter
In a bowl, whisk together:
Flour
Water
Garlic powder
Paprika
Salt & pepper
Batter should be smooth (like pancake batter) - Coat the cauliflower
Dip each floret into the batter
Let excess drip off
Place on the tray (don’t overcrowd) - First bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway
They should be lightly golden and crisp - Add BBQ sauce
Toss baked cauliflower in BBQ sauce + a little olive oil
Coat well - Final bake
Return to oven for 10–15 minutes
Let them get sticky and slightly charred
🍽️ Serve
Sprinkle with parsley
Add a squeeze of lemon
Serve hot with ranch or garlic dip
🔥 Tips
For extra crispiness: use panko breadcrumbs after batter coating
Want it spicy? Add chili flakes or hot sauce to the BBQ mix
You can also air-fry: 180°C for ~15–18 minutes, then sauce and cook 5 more
