🍯 Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs
🛒 Ingredients:
1–1.5 kg pork ribs
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
🍯 Honey Garlic Sauce:
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
5 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
🔥 Instructions:
- Prepare the ribs
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
Season ribs with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
Wrap tightly in foil and place on a baking tray - Bake
Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until ribs are tender - Make the sauce
In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, vinegar, and brown sugar
Bring to a simmer over medium heat
Add cornstarch slurry and stir until thick and glossy - Glaze the ribs
Remove ribs from oven and unwrap
Brush generously with the honey garlic sauce - Caramelize
Return ribs to oven (uncovered) at 200°C (400°F)
Bake for 10–15 minutes, brushing with more sauce halfway
Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for extra stickiness
🍽️ Tips:
Let ribs rest 5 minutes before cutting
Serve with fries, rice, or a fresh salad
Add chili flakes if you like a spicy kick 🔥
