🍲 Creamy Baked Chicken & Rice (Crowd Favorite)
🛒 Ingredients
2 cups uncooked white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk or cream
1 can cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup
4–6 chicken thighs or breasts
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheese (optional but amazing)
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the base
In a large baking dish, mix:
Rice
Chicken broth
Milk/cream
Soup
Onion, garlic, and spices
Add chicken
Place chicken pieces on top. Season them with a little extra salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cover & bake
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Uncover & finish
Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top (if using), and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
