500g small potatoes (baby potatoes work best)
2–3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter (melted)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp paprika (optional)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Grated cheese (optional, for topping)
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Boil the potatoes
Add potatoes to salted water and boil for 15–20 minutes until fork-tender.
Preheat oven
Set to 220°C (425°F).
Smash them
Place boiled potatoes on a baking tray.
Use a glass or fork to gently smash each one flat.
Season generously
Mix melted butter, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Brush or drizzle over each potato.
Bake until crispy
Roast for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy on the edges.
