Heavenly Cheesy Sliders Recipe
Ingredients:
12 slider buns (Hawaiian buns work best)
1 lb (450 g) cooked shredded chicken, ham, or roast beef (optional for extra flavor)
12 slices of cheddar or Swiss cheese (or mix!)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp poppy seeds (optional, for that classic slider look)
Instructions:
Prep the buns: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible, and place in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer the goodness: Lay the bottom halves of the buns in the dish. Add your choice of protein (chicken, ham, roast beef) evenly. Top with cheese slices. Place the top halves of the buns on top.
Make the buttery topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and poppy seeds. Pour evenly over the buns.
Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
Serve: Pull apart sliders and watch everyone fight over the last piece!
