1 cup whipped topping (or whipped cream)
Pudding Layer:
1 box (3.4 oz / ~100 g) vanilla instant pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
Cherry Layer:
1 can (about 540 g) cherry pie filling
Top Layer:
1–2 cups whipped topping
Optional: crushed graham crackers or white chocolate shavings

Make the crust
Mix crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) dish.
Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes.
Prepare cream cheese layer
Beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
Add pudding layer
Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick (about 2 minutes).
Spread over the cream cheese layer.
Cherry topping
Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the pudding layer.
Final layer
Spread whipped topping over the cherries.
Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings if desired.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best) before serving.
