🥩 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Slow Cooked Beef (5 Ingredients)
🛒 Ingredients:
1–1.5 kg beef chuck roast (or any slow-cook cut)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Prep the meat
Pat the beef dry and season lightly with salt & pepper (optional).
Sear for flavor (optional but recommended)
In a hot pan, sear the beef on all sides until browned.
Slow cook magic
Place the beef in a slow cooker (or a covered pot).
Add:
onion soup mix
beef broth
garlic
butter on top
Cook low & slow
Slow cooker: 7–8 hours on LOW (or 4–5 hours HIGH)
Oven: 160°C (320°F) for about 3–4 hours, covered
Serve
The meat will be so tender it falls apart—no knife needed!
