📝 Ingredients:
3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 ÂĽ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
Âľ cup (180ml) warm milk
1 egg
2 tbsp butter (softened)

  1. Activate yeast (if not instant)
    Mix warm milk + sugar + yeast
    Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy
  2. Make the dough
    In a bowl, combine flour + salt
    Add egg and yeast mixture
    Mix until a dough forms
  3. Knead
    Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth
    Add butter and knead again until soft and elastic
  4. First rise
    Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours (until doubled)
  5. Shape
    Punch down dough
    Shape into a loaf or small rolls
    Place in a greased pan
  6. Second rise
    Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes
  7. Bake
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden
