🥖 Homemade Garbage Bread
🛒 Ingredients:
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
1 egg (for egg wash)
👨🍳 Instructions:
Cook the filling
In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onion.
Add garlic, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
Add bacon & sauce
Stir in crumbled bacon, ketchup, and mustard.
Let mixture cool slightly.
Prepare the dough
Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
Fill it
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
Roll it up
Roll the dough tightly like a log (like a jelly roll).
Pinch the edges to seal.
Bake
Place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve
Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then slice and enjoy!

Add extras like peppers, mushrooms, or jalapeños for more flavor
Serve with dipping sauces (ranch, marinara, or BBQ)
You can swap beef for chicken or sausage
