🥩 3-Ingredient Foil-Wrapped Beef Roast
🛒 Ingredients:
1–1.5 kg beef roast (chuck roast works best)
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 can (or 1 cup) cream of mushroom soup
🔪 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
Prepare foil:
Tear off a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil (enough to fully wrap the meat).
Place the beef roast in the center.
Add flavor:
Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix evenly over the roast.
Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the top.
Wrap tightly:
Seal the foil tightly around the meat so no juices escape (this keeps it super tender).
Bake:
Place the foil packet on a baking tray.
Cook for 3 to 4 hours, depending on size, until the meat is very tender.
Serve:
Carefully open the foil (watch the steam!).
Slice or shred the beef and spoon the rich gravy over it.
