🧾 Ingredients
2–3 apples (peeled, sliced)
1 cup (200g) sugar
1/2 cup (115g) butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups (190g) flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup (120ml) milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: cinnamon + powdered sugar for topping
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan.
Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
Stir in vanilla extract.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with milk.
Pour batter into the pan.
Arrange apple slices on top (press them slightly into the batter).
Sprinkle with cinnamon if you like.
Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden and set.
Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
