🍚 Slow Cooker Creamy Rice Pudding (Warm Winter Treat)
🛒 Ingredients
1 cup uncooked white rice (long grain or jasmine)
2 cups water
2 cups milk (whole milk preferred for creaminess)
1 can (about 400g) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional but recommended)
2 tablespoons butter
Pinch of salt
Optional: raisins or chopped dates
🥣 Instructions
Add rice & water
Pour the uncooked rice and water into your slow cooker.
Make the “1 mixture”
In a bowl, mix together:
Milk
Sweetened condensed milk
Vanilla
Cinnamon
Salt
Pour over rice
Pour this creamy mixture over the rice in the slow cooker.
Add butter
Drop in the butter (no need to stir much).
Cook
LOW for 3–4 hours
or HIGH for 2–2.5 hours
Stir once or twice if possible.
Finish & serve
When rice is tender and creamy, give it a final stir.
Add raisins or dates if you like.
🍯 Tips
Add extra milk at the end if it gets too thick
Sprinkle cinnamon or drizzle honey on top before serving
