🧀 Cheesy Potato & Egg Bake
🥔 Ingredients:
4–5 medium potatoes (peeled & sliced or cubed)
1 small onion (chopped)
4–5 eggs
1 cup milk (or cream for richer taste)
1½ cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)
1 cup cooked meat (optional: chicken, sausage, or ground beef)
2 tbsp oil or butter
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp dried herbs (oregano or parsley)
🔥 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cook potatoes
Boil or pan-fry the potatoes until just tender (not too soft).
Drain and set aside.
Sauté onion
In a pan, cook chopped onion in oil until soft.
Add cooked meat if using.
Mix eggs
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs.
Assemble
Grease a baking dish.
Add potatoes + onion mixture.
Pour egg mixture over.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake
Bake for 35–45 minutes until set and golden on top.
Rest & serve
Let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting (helps it hold shape).

Add olives, peppers, or spinach for extra flavor.
For extra creaminess, use half cream + half milk.
Want crispy top? Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
