🧀 Creamy Cheesy Beef Shell Pasta
🛒 Ingredients:
250–300 g shell pasta (conchiglie)
300 g ground beef (or small steak pieces like in the image)
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup beef broth (or water + bouillon)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
🍳 Instructions:
Cook the pasta
Boil shell pasta in salted water until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
Cook the beef
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add beef, season with salt & pepper.
Cook until browned and slightly crispy.
Remove and set aside.
Make the base
In the same pan, add onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic, paprika, and chili flakes. Stir for 1 minute.
Create the sauce
Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add heavy cream and mix well.
Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
Bring it together
Add cooked pasta and beef back into the pan.
Stir in mozzarella and parmesan until melted and creamy.
Finish
Taste and adjust seasoning.
Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
🔥 Tips:
For that extra golden cheesy top, put it under the broiler for 2–3 minutes.
Add mushrooms if you want more depth.
A splash of Worcestershire sauce makes it even richer.
