🍯 Brown Sugar Chops (Juicy & Caramelized)
📝 Ingredients
4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried thyme (optional)
1 tbsp soy sauce (for deeper flavor, optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
Season the chops
Pat pork chops dry, then season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
Sear to golden perfection
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.
Make the caramel sauce
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
Add butter and garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the sweetness
Stir in brown sugar and (optional) soy sauce. Let it melt into a rich, bubbling sauce.
Coat the chops
Return pork chops to the pan. Spoon the sauce over them continuously for 2–3 minutes until they’re fully coated and caramelized.
Serve hot
Spoon extra sauce on top — that’s the best part!
🍽️ Tips for BEST flavor
Use thick chops for juicy results
Don’t skip spooning the sauce over the meat — it builds that sticky glaze
