Creamy Ground Beef Casserole
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
Optional: salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Shape the beef into patties and place them in a greased glass baking dish.
Pour cream of mushroom soup evenly over the patties. Spread gently with a spoon if needed.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the soup layer.
Add breadcrumbs evenly over the top for a light crunch.
Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until the beef is cooked through (internal temp ~160°F / 71°C) and the top is bubbly and golden.
Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or a side of vegetables.
This is basically the “one-pot, hearty supper” version—minimal prep, super comforting, and creamy.
