⭐ What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet)
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or thyme/oregano)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳
Instructions
1. Prep the Potatoes
- Wash potatoes well (you can keep the skin on).
- Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds—even slices help them cook evenly and crisp up.
2. Make the Flavor Mixture
In a small bowl, combine:
- melted butter
- olive oil
- minced garlic
- salt
- pepper
- Italian seasoning
Mix well.
3. Toss the Potatoes
- Add the potato rounds to a bowl.
- Pour the butter-garlic mixture over them.
- Toss until each slice is fully coated.
4. Arrange & Season
- Lay the slices flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese lightly over the top.
- Keep space between slices so they crisp properly.
5. Bake
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Bake for 25–35 minutes, flipping halfway.
- They’re done when golden, crisp on the edges, and tender in the center.
6. Finish
- Sprinkle with more Parmesan if desired.
- Add chopped fresh parsley before serving.
💡 Tips for Perfect Crispiness
- Use Yukon Gold potatoes for best flavor and color.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan—space = crispiness.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy version.
- Replace Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a richer taste.
