Ingredients
Dough
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1 cup warm water (add gradually)
Filling
300 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp cumin
Chopped parsley or green onions
Cheese (inside or topping)
Mozzarella or any melting cheese (grated)
For cooking
Butter or oil
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the dough
Mix flour and salt.
Add oil and warm water gradually.
Knead until soft and smooth (about 5–7 minutes).
Cover and rest 20 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the filling
In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, spices, and herbs.
Mix well until slightly sticky.
3️⃣ Shape
Divide dough into balls.
Roll each into a thin rectangle or circle.
Spread a thin layer of meat mixture evenly.
Sprinkle herbs.
4️⃣ Roll
Roll tightly like a log (as shown in the photo).
Press edges to seal.
5️⃣ Cook
Pan method (best):
Heat a pan with a little butter/oil.
Cook rolls on medium heat, turning until golden and meat is cooked.
Optional oven finish:
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes until melted.
