Ingredients
2–3 lb (1–1.5 kg) pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp paprika (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Honey Garlic Sauce
Β½ cup honey
β…“ cup soy sauce
5–6 cloves garlic, minced
ΒΌ cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional, but great)
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Method (Oven – Most Popular)
Prep the ribs:
Preheat oven to 160Β°C / 325Β°F. Remove membrane from ribs if needed. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Bake low & slow:
Wrap ribs tightly in foil. Place on a baking tray and bake for 2 to 2Β½ hours until very tender.
Make the sauce:
In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and ginger. Simmer 5–7 minutes. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.
Glaze & caramelize:
Unwrap ribs, brush generously with sauce. Increase oven to 220Β°C / 425Β°F and bake uncovered 10–15 minutes, flipping once and brushing more sauce, until sticky and caramelized.
Serve:

Slow Cooker Option
Place seasoned ribs in slow cooker.
Pour sauce over ribs.
Cook 6–7 hours on LOW or 3–4 hours on HIGH.
