1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
Optional extras:
½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
A pinch of garlic powder or black pepper

Cook the sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned.
Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.
Mix the filling
In a bowl, combine cooked sausage and cream cheese until smooth.
Stir in cheese or seasonings if using.
Prep the crescents
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Fill & roll
