🍫 Homemade Chocolate Fudge Sauce (Jar-Perfect)
Makes: ~4 small jars
Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup brown sugar (or white sugar)
½ cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
½ cup chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Heat the base
In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cream, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth and warm (don’t boil hard).
Melt the chocolate
Add chocolate chips and butter. Stir constantly until melted and glossy.
Finish it off
Take off heat. Stir in vanilla and salt.
Cool & jar it
Let it cool slightly — it thickens as it cools. Pour into clean jars.
How to Use
Drizzle on ice cream 🍨
Spread on toast or pancakes
Fill cakes or brownies
Swirl into milk or coffee
Storage
Fridge: up to 2 weeks
Reheat gently in microwave or warm water bath
Want it thicker like chocolate spread?
Simmer it 2–3 extra minutes until it reduces more, or add 1 more tablespoon butter.
