π₯© Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients
For the patties:
500g (1 lb) ground beef
1 egg
Β½ cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper
1 tsp oil or butter (for cooking)
For the mushroom gravy:
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1Β½ cups beef broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper
Instructions
Make the patties
Mix beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire, salt & pepper.
Shape into oval patties (like mini steaks).
Pan-fry
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
Cook patties 4β5 minutes per side until browned.
Remove and set aside.
Mushroom gravy
In the same pan, melt butter.
Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring until thick.
Add Worcestershire, salt & pepper.
Simmer together
Put patties back in the pan.
Simmer 8β10 minutes until cooked through and coated in gravy.

Ingredients
4 large potatoes, peeled & chopped
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp butter
Β½ cup milk (or cream)
Salt & pepper
Instructions
Boil potatoes and garlic in salted water (12β15 min) until soft.
Drain, add butter and milk.
Mash until creamy.
Season with salt & pepper.

Scoop mashed potatoes on a plate, add Salisbury steak on top, and pour that mushroom gravy all over.
