Ingredients (Makes 2 sandwiches)
2 cooked chicken cutlets (breaded + crispy)
(Leftover chicken parm works great!)
4 slices bread (sourdough, white, or Italian)
ยฝ cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella
ยผ cup grated parmesan
2 tbsp butter
Optional extras: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, fresh basil
How to Make It
Heat the chicken
Warm your chicken cutlets in a pan or air fryer until crispy again.
Slice if theyโre thick.
Butter the bread
Butter one side of each bread slice. (This gives you that golden crunch ๐ฎโ๐ฅ)
Build the sandwich (on the unbuttered side)
Mozzarella
Chicken
Spoon of marinara
Parmesan
More mozzarella
Top with another slice of bread (butter side facing out).
Grill it low & slow
Cook in a skillet on medium-low heat for 3โ4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Rest & slice
Let it sit 1 minute, then cut in half for max cheese pull.
