Creamy Garlic Chicken Skillet (Father-in-Law Approved!) πβ¨
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
Β½ cup chicken broth
Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sear chicken 5β6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds (donβt burn it).
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all those flavorful bits.
Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Stir and let simmer 3β4 minutes until slightly thick.
Return chicken to the skillet and simmer another 5 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
