📝 Ingredients
1 can (15 oz / 425g) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (15 oz / 425g) cream-style corn
1 cup (120g) cornmeal or cornbread mix
1 cup (240ml) milk
2 large eggs
½ cup (115g) melted butter
1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella
1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional: ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh parsley for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a baking dish (8×8 inch or similar).
In a large bowl, mix:
Whole corn
Creamed corn
Cornmeal
Milk
Eggs
Melted butter
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder
Fold in ½ cup mozzarella + ½ cup cheddar.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.
Bake 40–45 minutes until:
Center is set
Top is golden brown and bubbly
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing (this helps it firm up).
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
