π₯π« Old-Fashioned Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs
π Ingredients
For the filling:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2β2Β½ cups powdered sugar
For the coating:
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or butter

- Make the peanut butter filling
In a bowl, mix peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.
Add vanilla extract.
Gradually mix in powdered sugar until a thick, dough-like consistency forms. - Shape the eggs
Scoop out portions and shape into small egg forms using your hands.
Place on a lined tray.
Refrigerate for 30β60 minutes until firm. - Melt the chocolate
In a microwave or double boiler, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil.
Stir until smooth. - Coat the eggs
Dip each chilled peanut butter egg into melted chocolate.
Use a fork to lift and let excess drip off.
Place back on parchment paper. - Chill & set
Refrigerate for about 20β30 minutes until chocolate hardens.

Add a pinch of salt for a sweet-salty balance.
Use crunchy peanut butter if you like texture.
Drizzle extra chocolate on top for decoration.
